Taking place in Barcelona (Spain) on 28-29 January 2025 at Hub Social Barcelona, 2025 Eurodad Conference brings together experts working on economic justice in the lead-up to the fourth UN Financing for Development Conference (FfD4).

The conference is co-organised with Debt Observatory in Globalization (ODG), Oxfam Intermón and Alianza por la Solidaridad-ActionAid Spain.

The Eurodad international conference – which takes place every two years – is a leading forum for discussion, idea-sharing and collective strategising for civil society groups across the world. It brings together a diverse range of experts from the global south and north working on tax justice, debt justice, aid, the role of private finance, climate finance and International Financial Institutions (IFIs).

This year, it provides a unique opportunity to share ideas and plan ahead of the UN Financing for Development Conference (FfD4) which will take place in Sevilla, Spain in July 2025. This will include hearing from officials working towards the conference.

FfD4 is a once in a decade opportunity for civil society advocates to push for reforms to the global financial system under the auspices of the United Nations (UN). This will also be the first FfD conference hosted on European soil, meaning that the role of European countries - and European civil society acting in concert with the international CSO Financing for Development Mechanism - will be critical to its success.
