In late June, governments from across the world will meet in Sevilla (Spain) for the Fourth UN Financing for Development Conference (FfD4). This is a pivotal moment to commit to the reforms needed for equitable global economic governance. 

This high-level event, held in the European Parliament, will bring together EU decision-makers and civil society from the global south and north to discuss the road to FfD4 and the work that needs to be done to deliver the outcome that the world needs.

Opening remarks: MEP Charles Goerens, Renew Europe Group, Rapporteur of the European Parliament Report ‘Financing for development – ahead of the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development in Seville’

Keynote speaker: Patricia Miranda, Global Advocacy Director, Latin American Network for Economic and Social Justice (LATINDADD) - ‘How could FfD4 be a moment to strengthen multilateralism on development cooperation, debt and tax; and what are the demands from the global south on these issues?’ (10 mins)
