National Society of Conservationists – Friends of the Earth Hungary

The National Society of Conservationists comprises over 100 Hungarian member groups. Their mission is for the comprehensive protection of nature, as well as the promotion of sustainable development.

The Society plays an important role in civil environmental movements across Europe and on a global scale – in cooperation with international organisations, especially the Friends of the Earth International network.
