More than 100 civil society organisations call for a speedy implementation of the UN tax resolution.

Last month, the 2nd Committee of the UN General Assembly adopted an historic resolution on international tax cooperation. The resolution, which had been put forward by the Africa Group, outlines the road to an intergovernmental tax process under the auspices of the United Nations. In a letter sent to all UN Member States, more than 100 civil society organisations and trade unions strongly welcome this crucial step forward and call for the speedy implementation of the resolution.
