According to the latest OECD data, aid reached an all-time high of US$ 223.7 billion in 2023. Yet, aid from EU Member States fell drastically, and large amounts of the ODA that was reported by wealthy nations never reached countries in the global south. In this global election year, what does this data mean for aid budgets, and what are the implications for those living in the world's poorest countries?
Join Eurodad and Concord for a debate bringing together speakers from the OECD's Development Assistance Committee (OECD-DAC) and civil society from the global south and the global north.
This event will also mark the launch of a new briefing on ODA in 2023 and beyond, published by Eurodad.
