Civil society organisations from across Europe have launched a tax justice pledge in the lead up to the European election, which take place across EU Member States from the 23 – 26 May 2019. The tax justice pledge calls on election candidates to commit to supporting five policy priorities, should they be elected as Members of European Parliament (MEPs).

Olivia joined Eurodad in June 2018 as Senior Policy and Advocacy Officer, working on the tax justice team. She coordinates advocacy with EU institutions and carries out research on transparency and corporate tax, as well as engaging with Eurodad members.
Before joining Eurodad, Olivia lead Sightsavers Ireland’s Public Engagement team, focused on disability inclusive development policy and Chaired the Dóchas Disability and International Development Working Group. Prior to this, Olivia worked with ActionAid Ireland leading tax justice policy, advocacy and campaigning, and representing the organisation within Tax Justice Network Ireland. Olivia lectures on tax justice and international development issues in Irish universities, and has a keen interest in tax treaties and the gender dimensions and impacts of tax policy.
Olivia holds a Master’s degree in International Human Rights Law, from the Irish Centre for Human Rights and an undergraduate degree in Political Science, Sociology and English from the National University of Ireland Galway. English is her mother tongue.
