Bertha Argueta
Bertha is a climate justice advocate and policy expert. Starting in August 2025, she works as Senior Policy and Advocacy Officer for Climate Justice at Eurodad, where she focuses on making global finance fairer, more sustainable, and accessible to countries most affected by the climate crisis. With more than ten years of experience in international development and climate finance, Bertha has worked with organisations including Germanwatch, the World Bank, GIZ, and UNDP. Her expertise spans from climate finance negotiations to just transition strategies, and she supports civil society to strengthen access to finance. She holds master’s degrees in Agricultural Economics and in Sociology, and she speaks Spanish, English, French, and basic German.
