Ways of Working
At its core, the project strives to be non-extractive. In practice this has meant that:
- Individual storytellers have had full agency over the focus and style of their contribution to the project, as well as the chosen medium.
- All contributions to this project have been supported financially.
- An Advisory Board constituted predominately by Global South partners is providing guidance on positioning, sensitivities and encouraging non-extractive ways of collaborating with storytellers and Global South partners.
- Regular communication between the Eurodad team and the Advisory Board aims at ensuring diversity across age, gender, and regions, focusing on building an intersection between feminist, climate justice, and decolonial perspectives.
The project and its messages aim to boost support for debt cancellation and the necessary systemic changes to address future crises.
