Dina Mandroso Niaina is a young climate justice and human rights advocate from Madagascar, working at the intersection of climate change, debt, land governance, and sustainable development. She is a Regional Focal Point of RJDD (Réseau des Jeunes pour le Développement Durable) in Matsiatra Ambony. As a youth advocate, she is engaged in climate and environmental justice, land and food sovereignty, and the impacts of extractivism on local communities. Currently pursuing research in Management and Finance, Dina’s research focuses on land access, climate change, and the economic empowerment of single mothers in Madagascar, with a particular interest in sustainable socio-economic reintegration and the structural barriers affecting vulnerable communities. Through her advocacy and storytelling, she seeks to connect these local realities to broader issues of debt, extractivism, climate justice, and sustainable development, while amplifying the voices of young people and affected communities.
