Manar Abdelaziz (30 years) is an Egyptian feminist researcher and activist working at the intersection of gender and economic justice. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International and Comparative Law at The American University in Cairo.

Her work examines how economic policies and broader political and legal structures shape women’s lives and livelihoods in Egypt and the wider South West Asia and North Africa (SWANA) region. She has worked on issues including debt and austerity, women’s work, gender-based violence, and access to rights, bringing together feminist research, knowledge production, and grassroots organising.
