Our work
The European Network on Debt and Development (Eurodad) is a civil society network advocating for democratically-controlled, gender-just and human rights-based financial and economic systems.
DEAR programme
Funded by the European Commission’s EU Development Education and Awareness Raising (DEAR) Programme, “Connecting the dots” brings together nine civil society organisations from eight European countries, coordinated by the European Network on Debt and Development (Eurodad).
Connecting local realities to global change
Today’s most pressing challenges - economic inequality, climate change and gender injustice - are deeply interconnected. “Connecting the Dots” helps young people across Europe to understand these links and equips them with the knowledge, skills and tools to take meaningful action. The project turns complex issues into understandable narratives and uses campaigning, education and advocacy to inspire collective action and drive change.
Building a new generation of change-makers
Running from 2024 to 2028, the project works alongside young activists, media professionals, educators, and decision-makers to promote more just and sustainable solutions. By connecting local realities in the Global South and North with global systems, Connecting the Dots encourages critical thinking and informed action.
The project’s vision is clear: a generation of young Europeans leading the way towards a fairer and more sustainable future. They will help shape policies, influence public debate and bridge the gap between local action and global impact.

Era of Justice
Era of Justice is the flagship campaign of the “Connecting the Dots” programme. Running over four years, it supports the global movement for a fairer, more equitable world and focuses on the interconnections between economic, climate and gender justice. Its objective is to mobilise European citizens - in particular young people - to take action and hold European leaders to account.
Launched in May 2025 ahead of the Fourth UN International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4), this campaign has already mobilised thousands of young citizens to call on decision-makers to deliver meaningful change. It will continue to drive action on issues ranging from tax and climate justice to the links between economic inequality and gender equality, demonstrating that lasting solutions require interconnected approaches.
